Terms of Service
Demonstration document for the FoodTrustline product build.
1. Accounts
Accounts are issued to businesses and their authorised staff. You are responsible for the accuracy of the organization details you submit and for actions taken under your credentials.
2. Record accuracy
Traceability events, quantities, dates and certifications you record must reflect real operations. Knowingly submitting false provenance information is grounds for immediate suspension.
3. Verification status
Verified status reflects a review of submitted evidence at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of ongoing compliance and may be revoked.
4. Custody and transfers
Custody changes require acceptance by the receiving organization. Neither party may unilaterally rewrite a completed transfer; disputes are recorded as new events.
5. Recalls
Recall notices you publish are shown on public verification pages for affected batches. You are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of recall information.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access records outside your chain of custody, scrape public verification pages at scale, or misrepresent another organization.
7. Demonstration build
This deployment is a product demonstration using representative data. No commercial warranty is offered and records here should not be relied upon for regulatory compliance.
